Chubb Duplex Manifoil Safe Opened
Just after moving in to their new home the owners of this Chubb Duplex Manifoil safe contacted Safecracker and asked me to give a price to attend and open their safe. Sometimes customers take a week or two before they come back to me and accept the quote. On this safe it was 9 years. But the good news for them was that my prices have not gone up in over 10 years, so I attended and opened the safe for them for my original quoted price. Dudley Windsor Drop Safe Picked Open - Bedford
Can you guess where the keys to this Dudley Windsor drop safe ended up?. Yes a member of staff at a petrol station in Bedfordshire managed to drop the only key to this safe down the drop shoot! Safe Cracker attended and picked the 9 lever lock open without any damage to the safe so the keys could be recovered. Frontier Safe Opened With No Damage!
When the owner of this Frontier Gun Safe suffered a stroke, he was unable to remember the code to this and his identical gun safe. Under the orders of the local firearms officer the safes had to be opened and the guns removed by an authorised certificate holder. I attended and in the presence of a local gunsmith I opened both of the safes without any damage. After the guns were recovered and removed, I put both safes back in to full working order with new codes. Churchill Collector Safe Picked Open - No Damage!
When the owners of this Churchill Collector underfloor safe accidentally threw the keys away they contacted Safe Cracker and asked us to attend. Safe Cracker attended and picked the safe lock open with no damage to the safe. Safecracker then re-levered and re-keyed the lock with two new keys. Stratford Clarendon Safe - No Lock!
When the new owner found this Stratford Clarendon safe in a grade 2 listed house that he had just bought, he contacted safe cracker to come and pick the lock open and re-key it with two new keys. One of the questions I always ask in these situations is have you used this safe and seen it working? This safe is a perfect example of why I ask that question. On arrival I put a small scope in to the key way and saw that he lock had been removed, the door was shut and it was now locked solely on an internal re-locker. There was no lock for me to pick! Chubb Leamington Safe Opened - Chiswick
When the owners moved in to their new river side home in Chiswick, they had a Chubb Leamington safe with a combination lock in their wine cellar that they could not access. London Hackers Group Safe Picked Opened :)
For anyone who has not heard of the London Hacking Group, they are a community of expert hackers and lock-pickers, who even have lectures explaining to people how to pick locks open. So you can imagine my surprise when I got a call from them asking if I could attend and pick open their safe as none of them could open it! Islington Flood! Dudley Europa Grade 2 Safe Opened
A main water pipe burst in Upper Street, Islington, North London. On the down hill route of the water was a store who's basement contained this Dudley Europa Grade 2 safe. As the basement filled with water it shorted the workings of the fitted LaGard electronic lock. Once the water had been pumped from the basement, Safe Cracker were contacted. When the owners of a building in central London, were moving premises, they needed this old wheeled Mosler safe opening and its contents checked. Mosler is an American made safe and quite rare in the UK. They telephoned safecracker who jumped at the chance to open an old safe like a Mosler. Safecracker attended and opened the safe for them. Dudley Edinburgh Safe Opening - London
When the owners moved in to their new home this Dudley Edinburgh safe was left for them! The old owner said that they did not know the combination to the fitted 4 wheel lock. The new owners wanted it open so that they could get rid of it, but were also aware that you should not have a safe that you can not open in your home. They called safecracker. Taking in to account that after opening, the safe was to be removed, safecracker decided that the best way to open this Dudley Edinburgh safe was to drill it. As there was no side or top access, drilling had to be from the front. The Dudley Edinburgh has a glass plate in front of the lock which has other internal locks attached to it. Fichet Bauche Safe Opening - Central London
The original owner of this Fichet Richelieu safe had died whilst he was in France. This safe was then found in the property when the new owners moved in. The new owners were able to find a key which seemed to fit the lock, but the combination was unknown. They called safecracker who attended and opened the safe for them. Brattonsound Gun Safe Opening - Lost Keys Picked Open
After the owner of a Brattonsound Gun cabinet lost his keys he contacted Safecracker who quoted his Brattonsound pick open and re-keying price. The owner then sent a text to Safecracker offering an extra £100 if Safecracker could attend the same week and complete the opening. Below is a screen shot of the message including my reply. As you can see Safecracker declined his offer for the extra money but still attend within the week. I picked open his Brattonsound gun cabinet and put it back in to service for the original quoted price. Sistec Safe Opening - Failed Bolt Work in Romford
After their busiest night of the year, the Thursday before Good Friday, the staff at a pub in Romford had placed all their takings in to this Sistec safe. On Good Friday morning, they found that the safe would no longer open. They telephoned safecracker. Speaking to them, the most likely cause of the fault was identified. Chubb Cobra Elite Opening - Combination Lock Smashed Off
When the employees at the company who owned this Chubb Cobra Elite safe could not remember the combination to open the top lock, they decided to smash the combination lock off and then force the drive cam through the back of the lock, which they believed would open the safe. As it turns out, over 200 years ago, lock manufacturers thought that people would try to do that, so they made the locks impossible to open by this method. So for the last 200 years this method has not worked! All they succeeded in doing was further locking the safe. They then called safecracker. We attended and opened the safe for them and put it back in to service. Trying to open a safe when you do not know what you are doing, just locks it further. Dudley Harlech Picked Open After Keys Stolen
When purchasing a house in Battersea the new owner also bought this Dudley Harlech safe. During renovations, someone removed the keys from inside it, locked the safe and took the keys. When due to what they thought was a worn key pad, the staff at a central London company were having trouble opening their Phoenix Castille 6 safe they called a locksmith. The owner of this Fichet Bauche Valois safe had not used it for so long that she had forgotten the combination and had no idea where the keys were. Chubb Safe Failed Combination Change - Essex
The the staff at a large sports store in Basildon carried out their regular combination change on this Chubb Euro safe, they failed to carry it out correctly and were unable to open the lock again. As they had correctly tested the combination with the door open, the safe was now in a locked open situation. Within 2 hours of the call safecracker was on site. Chubb Safe With No Combination - Barnet
When the builders started to renovate a large house in Barnet, they found this locked Chubb safe hidden in a cupboard on the first floor. When a the owner of this Chubb safe safe went to close and lock it he found that the handle would not move, that the lock would not work and that now he also couldn't open the safe! When a member of staff at a university in Greenwich unexpectedly resigned nobody could find the keys to open this Ratner Book Room Door. Margolis Safe Opening - Snapped Spindle
When the owner of this Margolis safe went to dial the combination in to open it, he was surprised that the combination dial came off in his hand! The spindle had snapped clean through. The owners of this locked Chubb Bankers safe had purchased it as part of the building that used to be a NatWest Bank. For 15 years it had remained locked until they decided to pay to have it opened. Or they thought they were going to have to pay to have it opened, that was until they contacted safecracker. Before even quoting to open the safe I emailed them instructions and numbers to try. Chubb Leamington - Unknown Combination
Although this safe had been in use at a large roofing company for a number of years, it was only ever opened and locked with the key. The staff believed that the combination lock had been disconnected. On a Monday morning the staff found that they could no longer open the safe. A locksmith was called who told them that a re-locker had fired and that the safe would need to be drilled open by a safe engineer. The £60K Locked Banksy Safe Opened Without Damage
Outside of an art gallery, this safe is one of the only authenticated 'Banksy' works of art anywhere in the world. Dudley Safe With A 9 Lever Lock Picked Open
When the new owners of this Dudley safe wanted it opened and re-keyed so that it could be used again, they telephoned safecracker. I attended and using a basic 2 in 1 Hobbs pick, I picked open the fitted 9 lever S2 lock, opening the safe with no damage what so ever. Locked Safe With Faulty Bolt Work Causing Lockout
The owner of this safe had been having trouble opening and closing it for some time before the safe finally locked him out. After calling other safe engineers for quotes he realised that the first quote he had received from safecracker was nearly half our closet rivals. I attended and using a bores-cope was able to ID the fault. The photo below shows where the live re-locker has rubbed against the bolt work, coming loose until it could no longer lift clear. Leabank Digital Safe - Damaged During Burglary
When the staff arrived for work they found that over night their building had been burgled and an attempt to open this Leabank safe had been made. The electronic lock had been smashed off the front of their Leabank safe, and an attempt had also been made to force the key lock. When the staff at a famous book publishing company in central London could not remember the combination to open this Sentry 1330 fire safe, they decided that if you force the handle hard enough the safe will open. One broken handle and one still locked Sentry 1330 safe later they realised that it had not been the best course of action to take. When the owner of this old Chubb safe could not find the keys to this old Chubb safe he called Safecracker. We attended and opened the safe for him. Wraysbury had been one of the areas flooded when the Thames had bust its banks and this safe had been partially under water for a number of weeks.
