UK Storage Hunters - MLA Badged Locksmith Destroys Perfectly Good Safe on National TV! I was watching UK Storage Hunters on TV this evening, when I saw a locksmith wearing an MLA badge destroy a perfectly good safe and charge poor Linda £300 for doing so. I am guessing that the idea of picking a lock and opening a safe with no damage has still not reached members of the MLA. Of course had he of picked or decoded the lock open, he would have retained the value of the safe and Linda could have sold it recovering some of the money he had over charged her!
In the first shot, we see him aimlessly using an angle grinder to cut in to the front of the safe.
In the shot below, he has now stopped using his angle grinder and is now on to the drill! Still no sign of a lock pick or lock decoder then!!

SLS Safe - Fired Live Re-locker - Chiselhurst When the owner of this SLS safe decided to service his own safe, he was not aware of the additional security features built in to it. After removing the lock, he shut the door and turned the handle. The safe did exactly what it was suppose to and the live re-locker activated locking the safe. The £60K Locked Banksy Safe Opened Outside of an art gallery, this safe is one of the only authenticated 'Banksy' works of art anywhere in the world. Safecracker were contacted by the new owner and asked if we could open the Banksy Safe with no damage what so ever to the safe. Not only did we confirm that we could, our price to open the Banksy Safe was our standard opening price. 90 minutes after arriving on site, the new owner pulled the now unlocked safe door open, revealing the previously unknown contents. Although not a conventional safe opening tool, this camera does allow us to open a safe and confirm the contents on an uninterrupted video. If you are the executor of will and want to have proof of the unknown contents of a safe, this service is ideal for you. Safecracker Cracks Ex-Safe Cracker's Safe! When the owner of this Chubb safe lost the keys, he knew that it would take a professional safecracker to open it. The reason being that this Chubb safe had been his late fathers personal safe, a man who had known a thing or two about top quality safes as he had been a safecracker too! Both of the fitted locks needed to be picked and in a certain order for the safe to open. Tann Ministry - North London Prison - Lost Keys!! When one of the staff members at a famous north London prison did not show up for work and was in dispute with prison officials, they realised that a set of the prison keys were missing. If these were not quickly located it meant that all the locks in one part of the prison would have to be changed at a cost to the tax payer of £125,000. On receiving the phone call from prison staff safecracker dropped what we were doing and headed to the location. On opening the safe, staff were able to recover the missing keys from within it. Chubb Safe - Donated To Ravens Wood Village. We were called by the staff at Ravens Wood Village in Berkshire after the combination lock on their safe failed. Ravens Wood is a village housing mentally and physically disabled people but allowing them to live as much on their own as possible. Safecracker attended and opened their safe. On speaking to the staff safecracker discovered that the safe he had just opened was the one where the residents money was kept. A quick count showed that the safe they were using did not have sufficient cash rating for the money held within. Safecracker then donated this Chubb safe to them for free and also paid the shipping costs to get it to them.
Guardian Safe Lost Key - Raglan School, Enfield. We are called by the staff at Raglan School in Enfield after they had lost the key to one of their safes. Our quote was the cheapest and safecracker were asked to carry out the work. What they didn't know was that Mrs. Safecracker use to go their school. After completing the work Safecracker let them know that this one was on the house!

Once you have purchased your first key, all you then need to do is just buy the bits and bolt thrower for the other locks within its range.
For example, you buy the key with a bolt thrower and 4 of each of the 6 heights for the STUV 11 lever lock for £220. You then want to add the STUV 8 lever too. As you already have the key all you would buy is say 4 of each of its 6 heights and and a bolt thrower which would add £108 to the cost.
The picture above shows 2 universal make up keys, one with a STUV 11 bolt thrower attached and the other with a Mauer Variator bolt thrower. The pots have bits from different locks within the current range CAWI 2641, STUV 8 Lever, STUV 11 Lever, Mauer President, Mauer Variator. More locks are being added as fast as we can.

Is There A Down Side To Having A Safe? Unfortunately a BBC news article has once again highlighted a down side to having a safe which you are unable to open.
Robbers forced their way in to the address of an elderly lady in Surrey. When she was unable to remember how to open a second safe the robbers tortured her, pouring boiling water on her and eventually leaving her tied to a radiator whilst they escaped.
Safecrackers advice is that if you have a safe that you no longer use, either get it removed or leave it open. If you do have a locked safe in your house and need it opened please call safecracker.
New Safe Picks and Decoders Arrive!! Safecracker are always looking to provide the most professional safe opening service that we can and to this end we have added two new picks to our already large stock of safe opening tools.
The first are new picks and make-up keys for both the Sercus Juwel 6 and 8 lever double bit safe locks. These locks from Italy are becoming more common in the UK. Although we can pick both of these locks with bent wires, these tools allow us another option to open these safes.
The second is for the S2 lock commonly found on Churchill safes and also SMP safes. The Churchill safe lock has an anti pick feature which this tool over comes with considerable ease. Thus removing the need to drill open Churchill safes fitted with these locks.
Robotic Combination Lock Safe Dialling Service Safecracker offer a robotic combination lock safe dialling service for safes where the combination has been lost or forgotten. If the lock does not respond well to manipulation and you have the available time to allow it, we will set up a robot dialler on your safe which will run through all the possible combinations. This service is included within our normal safe opening service price. The benefit of this service is that it means that your safe will not need to be drilled in order to open it. Suspects Safe From A Police Murder Investigation A phone call from the police murder squad led to this small safe being brought under guard to the safecracker workshop still wrapped up in its exhibit bag. The safe was from a suspects address and had to be opened without destroying any of the forensic integrity of the lock. Safecracker were quickly able to open the safe as required.
Opening a Chubb Manifoil Mk4 Combination Lock A short video from safecracker explaining how to open a Chubb Manifoil Mk4 combination safe lock which is set to open on 40-50-60. The final number in the sequence is dictated by the direction the lock is fitted. So in this example the final number is 0. For a vertical down lock the final number would be 25 and for a vertical up lock it would be 75. Safe Manipulation Aid
You can now purchase the E3 Locks safe manipulation aid from Duffells. The kit can be used to divide a safe dial into 3600 units. Therefore potentially dividing each number on a dial in to 36 (certain Chubb dials divide slightly less than this)
