As training is mostly carried out on a 1 to 1 basis, I have currently suspended all safe cracker training until after the COVID lock down eases.

Training To Become A Professional SafeCracker
Safecracker offers a structured safe opening course for people who are currently in the locksmith trade but looking to expand in to the safe opening profession. The course can be run on a 1 to 1 basis but is limited to a maximum of two students per course. What I teach is exactly the same methods I use to open locks on site. All the key locks used on the course are locks that I have picked open on safes that I have been called out to open.

The course is module based consisting of lock picking, defeating manual combination locks and finally defeating electronic locks.

Module 1 is over two days and covers pick selection and adaptation and then moves on to picking open the common basic 7 lever safe locks like the CT12 and S2. At the progress of the student you will then move on to picking open double bit locks like the Mauer President and STUV. Time allowing we can also move to locks like the Tann 9 Lever or Power Locks.

Module 2 is spent dealing with and opening manual combination locks. This day does not only cover the standard 3 and 4 wheel combination locks that you are going to come across, but also other combination locks like Fichet. At the end of the day you should have all the skills necessary and be confident in being able to correctly identify and open these locks on a safe.

Module 3 is spent dealing with and opening electronic combination locks. At the end of the day the student should not only be able to identify and open the most common of these locks, but should also have developed the understanding of how they work so that they can work out how to open them.

If you would like further details please contact me giving details of your experience and any current safe opening equipment that you own. Other than my own tools, I do not sell safe opening kit, however, I can advise students where to source what they need to bring to the course.
